Justin Bieber and James Corden tortured each other with gross food and personal questions about bad fans, the movie Cats, and more during a round of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” on The Late Late Show Thursday.
The game centers around a platter of nauseating dishes — beetle jello shots, ant yogurt, cod sperm, bull penis, etc. — and a painstaking decision: Whether to take a bite of one of the dishes or answer a potentially embarrassing question. (After detailing the spread, Corden obviously took the opportunity to sing a few lines of Bieber’s “Yummy.”)
In the early rounds, Corden chose to take a sip of bird saliva rather than say whether Bieber or Harry Styles was more talented, while Bieber shot back a shrimp and three-chili-pepper smoothie rather than say which country had the worst fans.
As the food options grew more grotesque, Bieber and Corden became more open. Bieber bravely declined to eat the bull penis and instead ranked three of his wife Hailey Baldwin’s famous friends — Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Cara Delevingne — from favorite to least favorite. Corden declined to eat cod sperm and revealed instead how much he regretted making Cats (a 4.5 on a scale of one to 10), although he did choose to choke down some cow tongue rather than rank his late-night-host competitors.
The final round boasted a fitting twist as Bieber was asked to choose between eating a spoonful of ant yogurt and half of a scorpion or have Corden shave off his mustache. Facial hair on the line, and with the clippers buzzing, Bieber chose the spoon and, despite nearly yakking afterward, seemed to make it out unscathed.
