Jeremy Corbyn works out in London park with ‘top trainer’ to try and bust rumours he’s ‘too frail’ to be PM

JEREMY Corbyn has been spotted working out in a London park as he tries to dispel myths that he’s “too frail” to become PM.

The Labour boss was snapped in an intense session with wife Laura on Thursday, it was revealed today.

The pair cycled over to Finsbury Park for a session with a personal trainer, who claimed to have even helped keep pop-star Rhianna in shape.

Mr Corbyn, 70, and his wife were snapped doing sit-ups, core exercises, stretches with a resistance band and then jogged laps of the park, the Mail on Sunday revealed.

Fitness guru Samuel Ebi-Taubmann, who helped the pair out, told a passerby: “For his age, Jeremy is a fit guy.

“He does this strength session with me, then does two laps of the park at a fast pace.

“Not many 70-year-olds could manage that.

“But Jeremy’s got a tougher job than most 70-year-olds, so he needs more strength and stamina. I’ll get him in great shape.”

He even claimed he was helping him get in shape for free.

After the session the veggie Labour boss tucked in to a breakfast of fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and toast a local cafe.

Mr Corbyn is regularly seen out and about on his bike, and has also been known to go jogging too.

The workout comes just a week after reports that civil servants feared the Labour boss was “too frail” to be PM and was losing his memory.

A source said: “Jeremy is just a puppet. He can barely hold his head up. He is being manipulated and controlled.”

Labour exploded in fury after anonymous civil servants claimed Whitehall was worried Mr Corbyn is not up to the job “physically or mentally”.

The party rubbished the claims and demanded an official leak inquiry.

Mr Corbyn slammed the civil servants as liars and labelled it a “smear campaign”.

He blasted: “There must be an investigation into which senior civil servants are spreading  fictitious information and, in  the process, compromising the integrity of the civil service.”

Even Theresa May slammed the attack  by civil servants, and said Cabinet Secretary Sir Mark Sedwill will write to the Labour boss about it.

Sir Mark and Mr Corbyn met last week to discuss the outburst.

A Labour spokesman said: “Jeremy Corbyn leads an active life, running and cycling regularly, and is in good health. Reports to the contrary are clearly scurrilous and a transparent attempt to undermine Labour’s efforts to redistribute wealth and power from the few to the many.”

Mr Corbyn has been  treated for a muscle weakness in his right eye but officials insisted he is otherwise well.
