Jennifer Aniston, 52, and Justin Theroux, 49, split back at the end of 2017. Now, Justin has hit out at rumours around their break-up in a new interview, detailing how they still “love each other” and keep in touch.
Justin opened up about his and Jennifer’s decision to divorce in 2018.
The actor hit out at the rumours mill which followed their announcement as they didn’t give a specific reason for the split.
A major source of speculation at the time was that the pair divorced because Justin wanted to live in New York while Jennifer wanted to live in Los Angeles.
He said: “That’s a narrative that is not true, for the most part.

“Also, she makes me laugh very, very hard. She’s a hilarious person.
“It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her.”
Jennifer and Justin were married for two years after they tied the knot at their California home.
Back in 2018, their split was announced in a joint statement to the Associated Press.
This read: “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation.
“This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.
“We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.
“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly.”
Since then, Jennifer has not been publicly linked to anyone else.
However, her rep was recently forced to clear up rumours the actor was in the process of adopting a child.
After a story emerged she had told people on the set of the Friends reunion about this, the rumours were clarified.
They said in a statement to TMZ: “Rumours of Jennifer being in the process of adopting a child are ‘false and never happened.’”
Jennifer will next be on screen for the Friends reunion before she returns for the second season of The Morning Show later this year.
