Jenna Dewan has said that Everly, her daughter with her Hollywood actor ex Channing Tatum, is ‘thrilled’ her mother is pregnant.
The star is expecting a child with actor boyfriend Steve Kazee.
The actress and dancer made the admission on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, telling guest host Sean Hayes: ‘I knew she would be happy because she’s been asking for this.
‘But as soon as she found out she started crying. She was like, “This is the best day of my life!”’
Jenna, who has worked as a backup dancer for Pink and Christina Aguilera, also recently opened up about feeling ‘blindsided’ when, after their break up, it was reported Channing was in a relationship with Domino singer Jessie J.
She writes about how she felt at the time in her new book Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance In the Everyday.
‘There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship,’ she said.
‘I felt blindsided.’
Jenna added of her response to the news: ‘Instead of reacting the way I wanted…I asked myself this: How do I choose grace in this moment?’
However, Jenna clearly has no hard feelings towards the Price Tag singer, after she tweeted last year: ‘Amen Jessie!!!! Women for all the way. No need for negativity. Let’s live in a world where we support each other and raise each other up.
‘Like I said before, positive vibes all the way. Nothing but respect.’
