Foreign minister suggests companies operating in UK would relocate post-Brexit

Japan’s foreign minister Taro Kono has pleaded with both Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt not to lead the UK out of the EU without a deal when one of the becomes prime minister.

In an unusually blunt warning Kono suggested that Japanese companies operating in the UK would relocate to Europe in the event of a no- deal Brexit.
