Jamie Redknapp: 'That's what happens when you mess' Louise Redknapp’s ex on 'karma'

Jamie Redknapp, 46, watched the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox at the London Stadium at the weekend, the first ever Major League Baseball game held in Europe.

The football pundit went to see the historic game with his A League of Their Own co-stars Freddie Flintoff and Romesh Ranganathan.

But it didn’t end well for the latter as he suffered an injury at the hands of Jamie.

The ex-husband of Louise Redknapp accidentally elbowed the comedian in the eye during the match, which resulted in him needing stitches under his eyebrow.

Romesh shared a picture of his injured face to his Instagram, where he revealed Jamie got his “pay back”.

The star explained he had previously hurt him and accidentally broke his wrist.

Romesh wrote on the picture: “Last year @ALOTOSKY I accidentally broke @Jamie.Redknapp’s wrist.

“This year he paid me back by elbowing me in the face.”

Jamie re-shared the snap with his own 1.1 million followers and joked it was karma.

The former footballer added to the photo: “That’s what happen when you mess #karma.”

Jamie had shared a snap of their day out at the London Stadium watching the historic game, before the injury took place.

Harry Redknapp’s son was dressed in a Red Sox baseball outfit, along with Romesh, while Freddie opted for a New York Yankees kit.

Jamie captioned the snap: “@yankees v @redsox… can we hit it yes we can! Ish!!”

Meanwhile, Romesh was claimed to be “milking” his injury as he shared an update on his eye on Instagram today.

The stand-up comedian uploaded a snap of himself wearing a shower cap over his eye, to protect it.

“‘Make sure you keep the stitches dry’,” he wrote beside the image.

But his co-star, Freddie, wasn’t having any of it and commented: “Stop milking it, you’ve scratched your eyebrow @romeshranga.”

Elsewhere, Jamie’s ex Louise, released her new song today, titled Lead Me On.

In the lyrics, the mother-of-two spoke about someone hiding your “true feelings” and asked whether it was just for “show”.

The post on Instagram read: “Oh, I wanna know what makes you feel like you’re allowed to treat me unkindly, is it just for show why are you hiding all of your true feelings, why’d you… lead me on.”
