Jamie Oliver has revealed plans to remarry wife Jools ahead of their 20th wedding anniversary.

The celebrity chef will have something to celebrate just months after the collapse of his restaurant empire.

And, lifting the lid on their upcoming big day, the 44-year-old revealed it will be the most intimate gathering, with just 100 people attending – including their five children, Poppy, Daisy, Petal, Buddy and River.

‘Me and my missus are getting married again,’ he said. ‘I’m going to cook some amazing food, maybe try and get people a little drunk in the night, definitely have a little disco.

‘My wife loves to dance.’

It sounds like quite a do.

‘It’s not so much revolved around family structures, or aunties, and uncles, which our wedding was about,’ he continued to People.

‘It’s just about the people who we love the most; our nearest and our dearest. It’s an opportunity to get everyone together just to say, “thanks”.’

Well, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for an invite.

Jamie and Jools first tied the knot all the way back in June, 2000, at a lavish ceremony in Essex.

The pair, who have been together since 1992, have been inseparable ever since.

And the TV star teased that they may even be adding to their family once again.

During an appearance on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, he told the host: ‘I don’t know – I’ve tried to say no more, but it doesn’t go down very well.

‘Jools is a real family-maker and such an incredible mum. I think she knows this is the last window of opportunity.

‘We’ve been going out since we were 18 and she was 45 years old 2 days ago and to be honest there’s a lot that goes with being the wife of me.’

Jamie has had a tough year, after his food empire crumbled, with many of his restaurants going into administration.

Earlier in 2019, all 22 of Jamie’s Italian restaurants throughout the UK, his steakhouse Barbecoa and his restaurant Fifteen closed, with Fifteen Cornwall and his establishments at Gatwick Airport still remaining open.

Despite the setback, he insisted that he is ‘doing better’ than he was.

‘I’m really good,’ the star added to the publication. ‘Better than I’ve been in a long, long time.

‘[His family are] the best antidote in the world. When you’re tested like I’ve been all that matters is friends, family and health.’
