Jamie Laing pulls out of Strictly Come Dancing due to injury

Jamie Laing has been forced to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing due to injury, it has been confirmed. 

Earlier this week, the Made In Chelsea star was seen hobbling on crutches after suffering a fall during the launch show filming and on Thursday afternoon, it was confirmed that he will no longer be taking part in the upcoming series. 

A statement from the BBC explains that he will still feature in this Saturday’s launch show, which has already been filmed. 

Executive producer Sarah James added: “We are so sad that Jamie won’t be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm.

The tweet which accompanied the news added: “We’re going to miss you @JamieLaing_UK.”
