James Martin gave fans a rare look at his family after posting old photos on social media.

The TV chef is famously private however on Tuesday he posted two pictures of himself and his sister when they were children.

In one picture young James, wearing a stripey jumper and black trousers, and his sibling, in a dress with a frilly collar, hold hands while stood next to a fence.

The second snap was an angelic-looking James wearing a white, high-necked jumper and red, striped dungarees, posing for a photo in his garden with a big smile on his face.

The Saturday Kitchen star poked fun at the clothes he had on in the caption.

‘Stripes never did suit me…Neither did dungarees!’ he said.

Last year the TV star risked the wrath of his sister by sharing a candid snap of her baking in lockdown.

‘Ha ha my sister as I’ve never seen her before…cooking and in lockdown…she’s gonna kill me for that picture…ha ha…1st loaf,’ James said.

James, 48, keeps his personal life to himself, but has been in a relationship with Louise Davies since 2011 after they reportedly met on Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. They have a dog called Ralph.

He previously told Sunday People that he has no plans on getting married: ‘It doesn’t interest me in the slightest, mainly because I’ve catered for so many weddings, really.

‘I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy. I don’t need to spend £60,000 on a day, no, I’m more than happy, thanks.’
