A frustrated James ended up throwing the dish in the bin after the cooking mishap.
Meanwhile, the small-screen star thanked his fans for supporting his latest cooking show, James Martin’s Islands to Highlands.
In view of his 670,000 Twitter followers, he wrote: “Thanks for all your amazing comments about yesterday’s show and the whole series. Chuffed you all like it! The journey continues today with the ace @Kennyatkinson1 to explore the North East coast. I also eat at one of the best restaurants yet! #islandstohighlands, 2pm @ITV.”
