James Jordan: ‘Don’t think my body would take it!’ DOI star reveals plans with wife Ola

James Jordan teased possible projects with his wife Ola Jordan, 36, but said a Strictly Come Dancing return was out. The professional dancer said he wants to “use my mouth” in his next career move, after suffering a number of injuries in the ITV skating competition. The 40-year-old, who wed his spouse back in 2003, teased the possibility of him and the Polish beauty teaming up. During an interview with this week’s OK! Magazine, he spoke opened up what he plans to keep busy with after impressing the ice panel week-on-week.

When asked if fans will see him on Strictly again, James did not leave people in any doubt after exiting back in 2013.

“I don’t think my body would take it. I pushed myself to the limit on DOI,” the married star stated.

He continued: “If there’d been another week, I don’t think I’d have been able to do it. You have to know when to hang up your dance shoes.

“Ola and I still do corporate events.”

On if he and Ola have plans to do more together now, he teased that it was very likely to happen.

“We have things in the pipeline. She’s still judging Dancing With The Stars in Poland,” James said.

Meanwhile, when questioned what else he’d like to do once he’s recovered from his injuries, he had one thing in mind.

He added: “Something where I can use my mouth rather than my body – maybe presenting.”

James rose to fame on Strictly after turning professional in 2033 with Ola, and working as a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance.

During his time in the hit competition, he was partnered with Georgina Bouzova, Gabby Logan, Cherie Lunghi and Zöe Lucker.

The likes of Dr Pamela Stephenson, Alex Jones, Vanessa Feltz and Denise van Outen followed, with the latter seeing him achieve his highest place: joint second.

The interview comes just after he addressed how he felt during his first weekend without Dancing On Ice.

Taking to Instagram, he updated his 158,000 followers, writing: “I actually miss it a lot and all the people on it. It’s been a massive part of my life for the last six months and now it’s come to an end.

“Although my body wouldn’t have taken another week. Tomorrow I go for my shoulder surgery and I’m going to be honest I’m REALLY REALLY nervous!”

James concluded: “It’s going to be a long recovery but would do the show again tomorrow if I could ( Including shoulder injury) OMG I’m nervous though !!!”(sic)
