Riffing on potential lyrics, he continued: “Die not next week, can’t be a**d dying today, might die f***ing next month, there’s a lot of death going on.

“But you know they can give us a call. Why not?” Gallagher added.

Since throwing his hat in the ring, bookies’ odds have been slashed on the Gallagher brother doing the Bond song, with the star now priced at 3-1 according to Ladbrokes.

Meanwhile, the Beady Eye frontman also dropped a heavy hint he wanted to be involved in a Quentin Tarantino movie, saying he thought his song Gone would be perfect for one of the soundtracks.

“Gone is a top tune,” he said. “I could see that in a Tarantino film.

“If I could work with anyone? Tarantino. He’s pretty good, isn’t he?

“There’s a lot of him in Gone, but we don’t write music to go, ‘Right, let’s put it in a film’. But if people pick up on it then they’re welcome to it,” he added.
