James Bond 25 title No Time To Die has one BIG problem – Did YOU spot it?

Yesterday, EON productions revealed that James Bond 25’s title is No Time To Die. It certainly sounds very Bondy, following in the footsteps of other 007 titles alluding to death in You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, A View to a Kill, Licence to Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day. While there’s nothing wrong with pinching similar wording for a new title, there is a glaring problem with No Time To Die’s title.

The issue is, No Time To Die has exactly the same meaning as Die Another Day.

You could almost say, James Bond doesn’t have time to die, so he’ll die another day.

Considering there are many routes they could have gone with, it seems a little lazy to go with a title that’s basically the same as another one.

Nevertheless, there are a couple of reasons they may have done this.

Back in June, a snap leaked with the title A Reason To Die written on a piece of paper with the date 24/04/19 on it.

Fans will remember this was just one day before the Bond 25 Live Reveal when they announced the title wouldn’t be revealed yet.

Meanwhile, the source of the leak, MI6 HQ, have now pointed out that a Universal press release called Bond 25, A Day to Die.

Assuming this wasn’t a typo, these two alternative titles are very finite, suggesting Bond might die, whereas No Time To Die only alludes to the opposite in 007’s intent for this movie.

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
