Jacqueline Jossa is “trapped” in Dubai after torrential rain has caused “carnage” at the city’s international airport. The EastEnders star is currently on a break in the United Arab Emirates with her husband, Dan Osborne, and their children.
A “historic weather event” is currently taking place in Dubai – with more than 14cm of rain falling on Tuesday (April 16). Following the monumental downpour, all flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) have been grounded and schools have been suspended.
According to The Sun, Jacqueline, 31, and Dan, 32, are “concerned” about travelling due to “chaos” in the city. A source allegedly told the publication: “Dan and Jacqueline took the kids on a break to Dubai and it’s ended up being a nightmare.
“They’ve been trapped by the storms and are concerned about getting back home. The airport is chaos. They’ve hunkered down at their hotel and are hoping for the best.”
Former Only Way Is Essex star Dan has been keeping fans updated with the freak weather, which has caused one fatality at the time of writing. On Tuesday, he took to Instagram and posted a video with his son Teddy, ten.
Dan, who shares his eldest child with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, opened the video by saying: “Teddy, are your shoulders still burnt?”
After Teddy replied in the affirmative, the reality TV star panned the camera to the downpour outside of the family’s hotel room.
In the background of the clip, shared with the businessman’s one million followers, his son could be heard exclaiming: “It’s so hot”.
A further update was posted by Dan on Wednesday (April 17). He revealed that the family had thankfully experienced a slice of sunshine during the chaotic trip.
In a quick video, posted again his Instagram stories, he said: “We’ve just come in from a day out in the sun in Dubai.
“I know the weather yesterday was awful but today it was good.”

Earlier this month, soap actress Jacqueline was forced to shut down rumours that she and her husband had split.
Claims came after Dan was missing from photographs taken over the Easter weekend. Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted that the BBC actress wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
Breaking her silence on the situation, the mum-of-two uploaded a sweet snap of herself and her spouse, alongside their children Ella, Mia and Teddy.
In the caption, she wrote: “Thank you @danosborneofficial for taking us and continuing to give us amazing memories with the babies. Excited for this half term to make some more!”
The pair first got together in 2014 and tied the knot three years later in Cheshire.
Their first daughter Ella was born in 2015, and in 2018, they welcomed their second child together, Mia.
