JACK Whitehall let slip that he ALREADY knows the Brit winners as he chatted to previous host Chris Evans’ on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show.
The funnyman, 30, will host this year’s extravaganza for the second time and he was interviewed by the former presenter, 52.
When asked by Chris if he knew the winners a week before like he used to, Jack said: “I couldn’t possibly comment, but I am on my way to Ladbrokes now.”
Chris hosted the bash in 1995, 1996 and again in 2005 and 2006.
Jack teased that Hugh Jackman’s Greatest Showman performance – which The Sun revealed will kickstart the ceremony – is set to be ‘utterly spectacular’ with over 150 live dancers.
The Hollywood star, 50, is being flown in especially even though the movie’s soundtrack is not nominated.
The League Of Their Own star added: “Such a good way to open the show.
“He’s so cool. He’s like Australia’s answer to Bradley Walsh.
“I think he could do The Chase.”
A music insider told The Sun: “Brits bosses did everything they could to sign up Hugh.
“He may not be as cool as the younger stars performing on the night, but he will certainly be the most popular.
“They are banking on his opening performance being a must-see for fans of the movie and are convinced he will be enough to persuade older viewers to tune in.
“Because it was a soundtrack it didn’t fit into any obvious awards categories but it has been the biggest thing in music for years so they had to acknowledge it somehow.”
The comedian also joked about how he has lined up an interview with George Ezra for the end of the show as he doesn’t think the Shotgun singer will be ‘on a monster sesh’.
