ITV's Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan clears up ‘relationship’ with Eamonn Holmes

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has clarified her relationship with Eamonn Holmes once and for all saying that she loves both him and wife Ruth Langsford. Despite constantly winding up her fellow panellist by claiming to have feelings for him she exclusively told Express.co.uk that she loves winding her up and she adores “the two of them so much.”

“I love winding Ruth up about him. I love him and me and him get on so well and Ruth’s like seriously, my best friend, one of my best friends and I know that she’s insanely jealous.”

“She gets really jealous so I love winding her up and going ‘Really Eamon is much better with me.’ But then the papers pick it up, the magazines and stuff but we do have a laugh about it as soon as she says something about Eamonn – like if she’s negative about him.

“She’ll say he’s always moaning with all these ailments I go, ‘Eamon’s not like that with me’ and she’s like, ‘I swear to God I’m gonna kill you.’ So we do have such a laugh about it,” she confessed. “Love the two of them so much,” she said.

Fans of Loose Women are familiar with the pair’s banter about the GB News presenter. Last September as the panel discussed perfect marriages Coleen earnestly told Ruth: “I’d be devastated if you and Eamonn split up.”

However, Ruth couldn’t resist making a joke of it saying: “Well I thought you wanted him.

“I thought you’d be the first in,” she said to raucous laughter from the other panellists and the audience.

Not to be outdone, Coleen came back with a quip of her own. “I don’t think marriage is stopping us,” she said coyly as she cheekily fanned herself with her cue card leaving everyone speechless.

However, their exchanges are all in good humour as Coleen clarified in advance of her first solo tour of the UK which she has called Naked.

“It’s called Naked because, for the first time in my life, I do feel incredibly exposed and very vulnerable and I kept mentioning this and it was my partner who said, “Why don’t you call it naked?” And I was like, That’s genius!

“Because it’s funny – people actually might think I’m going naked – but actually, it’s associated with vulnerability, and exposed being, feeling alone, because it is the first time I’ve ever done anything solo.

“I’ve either been, performance-wise, I’ve always been with my sisters and TV-wise, it’s always been with Loose Women or Full Monty. It’s a whole team of people.

“So I’ve never really done – especially performance – I’ve never done on my own, but it’s just something that was on my bucket list that I thought if I was on my last legs tomorrow, what would I think I wish I’d have done.

“And performing was on that list. Performance was the only thing really where I thought I regretted if I didn’t sing again, even just once more. And I kind of threw it out there to people and all of a sudden it’s happening.”

Coleen Nolan’s Naked tour kicks off in Blackpool on February 9 and will take in cities all over the UK. Tickets are available here .
