MORRISONS will be open on New Year’s Day – don’t fear.
But of course, opening times will vary from branch to branch so here’s our handy guide to when stores will be open over New Year’s.
What are Morrisons opening hours at New Year?
To get ready and bring in the New Year, Morrisons will be open from 7am – 6pm on New Year’s Eve.
On January 1 stores will be open from 9am – 6pm.
Beginning Wednesday, January 2 stores will be back on normal opening hours.

Most of Waitrose stores are closing their doors on New Year’s Days.
Aldi is also giving it’s staff a break, as the discounter is closing its stores once again on New Year’s Day – January 1.
All Lidl stores will also be closed.
But don’t fret – Morrisons isn’t the only supermarket open on January 1st.
Sainsbury’s will be opening their doors from 9am – 7pm.
Tesco will also remain open.
On New Year’s Day, in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, Tesco Extras, Superstores and Metro stores will open shop from 9am to 6pm.
Express stores will be open from 8am to 10pm.
In Scotland, Tesco Extras and Superstores will operate 11am to 6pm, while Metro and Express stores will be open 10am to 6pm.
Tesco petrol stations will be open 8am to 7pm.
