I’m mum-shamed for having sex WHILE breastfeeding my baby – I don’t see the issue, they don’t know what’s happening

AS we’re sure all mums will agree, there’s isn’t all that much time to get intimate with your partner when you’ve got a newborn in the house.

So it goes without saying that you’ve got to make the most of every opportunity when they do arise – right?

But while most new parents tend to hold out for nap-times or when in-laws take their little one off their hands, this mum has sparked fierce debate over her and her partner’s approach.

As CafeMom reports, new mum Macy created a Facebook group for other parents who welcomed their children in April 2022.

However, she was recently forced to shut it down after she openly spoke about having sex with her husband while she was breastfeeding her son.

In a post on the now deleted-group, one mum said she was uncomfortable getting physical with her partner while her baby was in the same room.

Macy wrote: “I don’t think it’s weird.

“We have sex next to baby often – often while [I’m breastfeeding].

“We side-lay nurse. He is a baby and doesn’t know what’s going on.

“It’s always from behind and baby is in front of me.”

Unsurprisingly, Macy’s comment sparked fierce debate in the comments – which prompted her to shut down the group entirely.

One replied: “Why would you not just wait until you’ve finished feeding your baby?

“How are you enjoying yourself while feeding your baby? Weird.”

Struggling to see the mum’s point of view, another added: “But why?!”

Meanwhile, a third argued: “Having sex while your baby is in the room and literally having sex when your child is on you feeding is f***ing weird.

“I think you and your partner’s can wait until the child is fed.”

In response, Macy wrote a follow-up post: “This is a non judgmental group. If you make a post judging others, you will be removed. There is no place for drama here. Try me.”

However, her warning didn’t stop the barrage of comments from other mums which resulted in Macy following through on her threat.

She wrote: “I was bullied for choices I make as a parent. Bullying is not okay. Ever.

“Because of people not being able to control themselves, the group will be paused until further notice.”
