Kate Garraway is worried she will get hangry from the lack of food as she heads into the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

According to her Good Morning Britain colleagues, the presenter gets really grumpy when she’s hungry – and it’s no secret the campmates mainly survive off eating rice and beans throughout their time there (unless they win stars for meals).

Hosts Ben Shephard, Ranvir Singh were chatting to Kate’s best mate Clare Nasir about her stint on the show.

Ranvir admitted: ‘The thing she is genuinely worried about is the food as you don’t get much to eat and she gets really grumpy when she’s hungry, she’s worried about how grumpy she is going to get.’

Clare then added: ‘She’s a grazer she likes to pick at food but she won’t be able to do that in the jungle.’

Ben then chimed in about the clothes Kate has packed ahead of Sunday’s show.

He exclaimed: ‘Kate has packed two sets of bikinis, racy bikinis and more modest bikinis depending on how she is feeling.’

It was only yesterday that her pals were chatting about the ITV show as Kate  touched down in Brisbane airport earlier this week.

Newsreader Charlotte Hawkins revealed that Kate got stopped at customs for carrying too much fake tan.

She confessed: ‘Well she did say she got stopped at customs with too much fake tan. She got stopped in customs and it held her up, apparently.

‘I don’t know if she had a whole suitcase of fake tan. You’ve got to look the part.’

Kate is joining an incredible I’m A Celebrity 2019 line-up, which boasts of Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle, radio presenter Adele Roberts and Caitlyn Jenner.

ITV gave fans the first look at the new campsite last night and the revamped set is now also home to a Jungle Gym and workout area.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
