Iggy Azalea is left fuming after being charged $92 for a grilled cheese sandwich in Las Vegas

‘We love scammers!’ Iggy Azalea is left fuming after being charged $92 for a grilled cheese sandwich after ordering room service at her Las Vegas hotel

Iggy Azalea ran up quite the bill during her recent stay in Las Vegas.

But it wasn’t the gambling at the casinos which left her with empty pockets, it was the room service charges at her hotel.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the 29-year-old Fancy rapper revealed she had been charged US$54 for a grilled cheese sandwich – equating to AU$78.

‘I just paid 54.00 for a grilled cheese sandwich. Las Vegas,’ she fumed, sharing a GIF of Oprah Winfrey looking unimpressed.

But Iggy later revealed her bill was even higher than she first thought, after being charged US$10.08 – AU$14.61 – for cutlery.

‘UPDATE: I’m not kidding I just got the bill and they charged me and [sic] extra 10.08 for knifes [sic] and forks which aren’t included free here…’ she added.

‘So grilled cheese (that I can eat with my hands) is now 64.08! We love scammers.’

She also added a video of a man dressed in drag running along a footpath while being chased down by a car.

Sharing a photo of herself eating the pricey sandwich, Iggy joked that while she paid the bill, she was planning on calling her credit card company.

‘Plot twist: I’m reporting this card as stolen,’ she captioned the photo.

But she claimed the hotel kind of made up for it by sending an ice bucket up to her room, too.

‘Anyway I got a complimentary bucket of ice; so at least I have something to drink,’ she tweeted, before later adding, ‘Update there is no ice in the ice bucket.’

Iggy said she was planning on taking the ice bucket with her to recoup some of the money she’d lost after paying AU$92 for the sandwich.

‘So I got a free bucket. And I’m keeping it, I need to make back my money,’ she wrote.

A fan tweeted that she should also ‘take the TV off the wall and put it in your LV [Louis Vuitton] duffle’.

Iggy responded: ‘I’m wrapping the HDMI cords up as I type this.’

She then jokingly posted a sale advert for the ice bucket, referring to it as a ‘mid century modern vessel’.

‘For Sale: Mid century – modern vessel. A transitional piece with sleek lines & mild wear. $104.00,’ she wrote.

She also shared a video of herself tossing the hotel’s cutlery into one of her suitcases.

But one fan seemed concerned Iggy would get into trouble for stealing from the unnamed Vegas hotel: ‘They gon [sic] have you on TMZ for stolen items. Can’t wait.’

‘Can’t steal what I have a receipt for!’ she responded.
