A YOUNG mum has been left stunned after people commented on a video of her newborn baby, saying her name made her sound like a porn star.
Renee shared her pregnancy progress on her TikTok page, and introduced followers to baby Layla following her birth in May.

But while the majority of people offered their congratulations, one was quick to take issue with her name.
“Your daughter’s name sounds like a pornstar name,” one wrote.
“Someone rly said this about my newborn baby?? like????” Renee captioned her video response on TikTok, as she lip synced along to the “funny but not funny haha” quote.
Others in the comments section insisted Layla sounds nothing like a porn star name.
“I was thinking her name must’ve been Crystal, Destiny, Kandy, or Sugar but its Layla, literally not even close to stripper name,” one wrote.
“I thought you named her something like ‘Rosy Kyrstal Diamond Baby Glitter Sparkles’,” another added.
“They even sexualise names lorddd what?” a third person commented.
“How it is thou .. layla is lit the most beautiful name,” someone else questioned.
As another weighed in: “Legit if you named her Candy Bliss or something yeah but Layla? No it’s just a name.”
Others revealed their own similar stories, with one writing: “My partner wanted to name our next daughter Octavia until his dad said ‘sounds like a name of someone you’d pass around’.
“This kid’s not even born yet..”
And someone else said: “My niece is called Layla people say that because the origin is ‘lady of the night’.”
