HyperX Partners with Excel Esports, Vancouver’s The Gaming Stadium

Gaming peripherals maker HyperX Database-Link-e1521645463907 has entered a pair of new partnerships, with organization Excel Esports Database-Link-e1521645463907 and Vancouver’s upcoming The Gaming Stadium, respectively.

HyperX has been named the official peripherals supplier of Excel Esports, which currently competes in the League of Legends European Championship Database-Link-e1521645463907 (LEC). Excel players will use HyperX headsets, keyboards, mice, and mousepads, both while competing on the LEC stage and when playing at the Excel HQ (XLHQ) training facility at England’s Twickenham Stadium.

The companies will also collaborate on a documentary-style content series that highlights the back stories and individual competitive paths of Excel’s League of Legends players. The episodes will be posted to HyperX’s YouTube channel.

“We are extremely excited to welcome HyperX as our official peripherals supplier,” said Excel co-founder and managing director Kieran Holmes-Darby, in a release. “HyperX and Excel go hand in hand, with both of us being high-performance gaming brands who are looking to normalize gaming in the mainstream. We are really looking forward to working with HyperX on a number of things, including some world-class content!”

Separately, HyperX has also been announced as the peripherals and hardware partner of The Gaming Stadium, a soon-to-open Vancouver venue operated by Myesports Ventures Ltd. It is the first dedicated esports arena to open in Canada.

Set to open on June 28, the venue has a main stage with 12 gaming PCs, as well as 48 off-stage gaming PCs and seating for 110 spectators. All of the computers will use HyperX memory and storage, and be outfitted with the company’s keyboards, mice, mousepads, and headsets.
