WATCHING your wallet but fancy a night at the movies? A trip to the flicks can be pricey, and many of us see cinema nibbles as a massive rip-off.
But film fans can make great savings on snacks and tickets with these deals.
VUE BEAUTY: Wowcher has a deal with Vue cinemas offering two tickets for £9.49 instead of £19.48.
Or if you are in a group, you can get five tickets for £20 instead of up to £48.70, depending on location.
The deal is also good for solo cinema-goers and you can use all the tickets at once or save them for later visits. Sign up for the deal and you will be emailed Vue e-codes to redeem against tickets. Codes bought now are valid until February 28.

SWEET SAVING: Treats bought at the cinema cost a packet. But you can save by taking your own in a DIY pick ’n’ mix bag. As long as it is not hot or strong-smelling food, it is OK to take it into the cinema with you.
At Tesco, two big bags of sweets, including fruit pastilles and lemon sherbets, are just £1.50, usually 89p each.
Or if you prefer big brands, bags of Maynards wine gums or Jelly Babies are 90p, down from £1.48. Stock up on your family’s favourites and let them fill sandwich bags with their picks.
