Hannah Brown defends Demi Burnett after Jed Wyatt comparisons are made

Hannah Brown has come to Demi Burnett’s defense, after Burnett was compared to her controversial ex-fiance, Jed Wyatt.

Bachelor In Paradise vet Tanner Tolbert, 32, accused Demi of staging her on-screen romance on this season of the spin-off, and even compared her to Jed, who had a girlfriend waiting for him back home when he proposed to Hannah, 24.

Demi did come clean at the start of the show and admit she had been casually dating another woman before filming began, but Hannah was not having Tanner’s comparison, and quickly took to Twitter to stand up for her best friend.

‘One is my best friend, one is my ex-fiancé….I can tell you first hand, not the same,’ she tweeted.

Still, not all fans were in agreement, and many vocalized support for Tanner’s tweet.

One Twitter user remarked, ‘You can defend one without bashing another, just saying.’

Hannah replied, ‘Not bashing anyone…just saying it’s not the same and the comparison is irrelevant.’

'F– off': On Wednesday, Demi Burnett, 24, told off Tanner Tolbert, 32, after he accused her of staging her engagement on this season of Bachelor in Paradise, comparing her to Jed Wyatt who was dating another woman when he proposed on season 15 of The Bachelorette

Clap back: 'Oh f–k off, not the same at all. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about going down on your wife @ttolbert05,' Burnett wrote

The Twitter drama all started Wednesday, after Tanner pointed out in a since-deleted tweet that both Demi and Jed had been seeing someone before the start of the show.

Demi fired back, ‘Oh f–k off, not the same at all. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about going down on your wife @ttolbert05.’

After receiving some backlash from fans, Tolbert followed up with an explanation, writing: ‘Before filming even began I heard that Demi planned to leave the show engaged to this girl… I support Demi fully, but she could have proposed off the show. I am tired of everyone talking beforehand and pre planning these relationships… whether it’s Demi, Blake, anyone…’

But after Burnett’s response, Tolbert had a burning question for The Bachelorette alum: ‘It’s not the same thing? Then how did I hear about your “plan” before filming even started?’

To which Burnett fired back: ‘There was NO PLAN. You are speaking on something you HEARD about as if it is a fact. I was 100% honest and upfront the entire time. You are a grown a** man tweeting about rumors.’

The father of two then responded with a series of seriously sarcastic tweets, even throwing a gif of a man throwing a stone through a glass house in the mix.

‘Gotcha… I must have dreamt it all up then… my bad,’ he wrote in the first tweet, adding an eyeroll emoji and following it up with a gif.

‘If a rumor becomes true… doesn’t it then become a fact? Listen… I love watching you on TV and wish you nothing but happiness. But don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house,’ Tolbert continued in a third tweet.
