Grant Denyer is all smiles on his last day as 2Day FM breakfast radio host

No worries here! Grant Denyer is all smiles on his last day as a 2Day FM breakfast radio host as he visits Channel Ten studios accompanied by his wife and daughters

He was recently canned from his breakfast radio gig.

But Grant Denyer was all smiles when he was seen entering Channel 10’s Sydney headquarters on Friday.

The 41-year old was beaming from ear to ear as he stepped out of his car, joined by his wife Chezzi and two daughters.

Grant looked a million bucks in a crisp white T-shirt, khaki shirt and skinny jeans.

With his phone and wallet in-hand, he looked as though his recent sacking was the furthest thing from his mind.

In a touching sign of support, he was accompanied by his wife Chezzi, and their daughters Sailor, seven, and Scout, three.

After 18 months of dismal ratings, 2Day FM pulled the plug on Grant’s Sydney breakfast show Grant, Ed & Ash and is replacing it with a new, music-only format.

On Monday, 2Day FM will launch Music for Breakfast, hosted by Jamie Angel.

The axing of Grant, Ed & Ash is the sixth failed attempt by 2Day FM to launch a successful breakfast show following Kyle and Jackie O’s departure in 2014.

It’s been a big year for the cheeky media personality.

In July, he was bed-ridden with a stomach-bubbling case of cryptosporidium, a nasty parasitic infection of the bowel.

In March, Grant was hospitalised with a ruptured disc after an accident on his Bathurst property.
