For crostinis, puree Asda’s 69p peas, spread over toasted slices of Sainsbury’s 85p baguette and add herbs — cheaper than M&S’s £20 luxury canape selection. SAVE: £11.46 on canapes.
Look the party: Take advantage of Tesco’s five-for-four deal on decorations, such as balloons, napkins and plates.
Party Pieces has a decorating kit for £9.99, compared with Party Packs’ £29.94 version. SAVE: £19.95 on a decorating kit.
Game on: At The Works, boardgames Logo and Articulate are both down from £32.99 to £20.
Or why not try a traditional party game?
Play “end of year questions”, where guests write down embarrassing moments or achievements from 2019 and you guess who it is. SAVE: £12.99 on board game.
Tune in: Spotify has great party playlists.
