Gemma Collins begs I'm A Celeb bosses to give her another chance

Gemma Collins has begged I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses to give her another chance five years after she quit.

The Dancing On Ice diva, 38, is desperate to return to the ITV show to make up for her early exit back in 2014.

Gemma made it into the jungle five years ago, but walked out when camplife got too tough.

However, she’s now convinced she’s ready to tackle the Australian adventure one more time.

During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: “I’ll never forget getting the call…

“Looking back, I don’t feel I was ready for that show. I was new to TV, I was the underdog on Towie.

“I wasn’t the best looking girl, I didn’t have a model figure, I was this car girl from Romford selling cars.

” I was being put in the Jungle and in hindsight I wasn’t ready for it.

“I felt hugely out of my depth… I was petrified. I was so scared.”

When asked if she wanted to go back on the show, she insisted she’s finally ready.

Gemma added: “If I was to go back now… I’ve got a lot more experience.

“I’ve got a tougher skin now and I think that’s where The GC came into play.

“If they asked me back, yes I’d go back.”

Gemma said she wants to go back into the Australian jungle to finish what she started

Gemma is enjoying a raised profile thanks to her recent stint on Dancing On Ice, which she managed to get through without quitting.

It would not be out of the question for producers to invite her back on I’m A Celeb for the 2019 series.

We’re sure viewers would love to see The GC return to the jungle for more diva antics.

The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 9:20pm on ITV.
