Gemma Atkinson exposes assets as she strips to boob-baring gym gear for post-baby shoot

New mum Gemma Atkinson looked incredible on the April cover of Woman’s Health magazine this week.

The 35-year-old actress and radio presenter donned tight workout gear for her photoshoot with the publication.

The former soap star posed up a storm and flaunted her gym-honed figure just seven months after giving birth to her first child.

In the pictures, which were taken by photographer Peter Pedonomou, the former Strictly finalist showed off her post pregnancy figure.

She proudly displayed her toned torso and flat stomach in an array of different looks.

Gemma and her boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Márquez, 39, welcomed their daughter Mia into the world on July 4, 2019.

In the interview, which accompanied the photoshoot, Gemma spoke about how her body has changed since becoming a mum and revealed she was “completely floored” by her caesarean section.

Fitness-loving Gemma has a gym at home, which she admitted made it “a lot easier” to exercise with a small child, but said she did not start working out until her daughter was 15 weeks old.

She told the publication: “The C-section completely floored me; I couldn’t brush my hair I was in so much pain.”

She went on to explain: “A caesarean goes through seven layers of fat, tissue and muscle, so it takes a long time to get better and, for me, it wasn’t sensible to start exercising until around 15 weeks after Mia was born.”

Gemma added: “My body doesn’t look like it did before, It’s changed after having a baby… my body is not better or worse, just different.”

The former Emmerdale actress continued: “I was always straight up and down, like a surfboard, but now I’ve got a bit of a waist. When I put on high-waisted jeans, you can see I’ve got hips. I reckon I’m about 3% J Lo now, so I’m happy with that.”

The full interview appears in the April issue of Women’s Health, on sale now.
