GB News presenters address blunder as they awkwardly wear the same dress

Isabel Webster and Bev Turner both wore exactly the same outfit after bumping into each other at work. The GB News presenters boasted identical purple dresses as they turned up to host their respective shows.

Taking to social media, Isabel shared the blunder on Instagram with a selfie and captioned it: “Whoopsy…!! We really need to co-ordinate more @bevturner_thatsme,” completed with laughing and wide-eyed emojis.

Isabel hosts GB News Breakfast alongside Eamonn Holmes, meanwhile Bev hosts the mid-morning show from Monday to Thursdays alongside Andrew Pierce.

This isn’t the first time that two TV presenters have showed up to work in the same outfit, as last month Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway wore the same clothes as Myleene Klass.

The duo both turned up at Smooth Radio, as both Myleene and Kate host their own respective shows on the station, and ended up bursting out in laughter when they realised they had chosen the same outfit.

Myleene, 45, uploaded the hilarious encounter on her official Instagram page. In the video she laughed: “Oh my gosh!” as Kate chimed in: “I love it, it’s brilliant, how can I make it more Klass? It’s so good, it’s our new uniform.”

She also added the caption: “Sometimes you just need to laugh. Love my friend @kategarraway @smoothradio gals,” as she used the soundtrack ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ by Beyonce.

Many of Myleene’s 482,000 followers couldn’t help but comment on the funny moment. One person said: “This is brilliant! Both looking gorgeous.”

In similar news, Isabel Webster has previously opened up about being “shamed” by a former boss due to her choice of clothing for work. The journalist opened up about the “humiliating” ordeal back in January and spoke to The Apprentice winner Marnie Swindells.

Isabel recalled: “I’ll never forget being told by an ex-boss that I wasn’t allowed to ‘look sexy’ whilst presenting the news. She banned dresses with zips up the back and would shame me for wearing high heels. I remember feeling confused, humiliated and insulted.”

Isabel is on GB News from 6am with Eamonn Holmes.
