GANGNAM Style sensation PSY has left fans reeling after losing a shocking amount of weight.
The 41-year-old South Korean rapper, who has been taking time away from the spotlight, left fans stunned when he returned to social media looking startlingly slimmer.
Gob-smacked followers posted: “Wow, you lost a lot of weight, hope you’re okay.”
Another gasped: “You look like a completely different person! What happened?”
Others wrote: “PSY, you look so slim in this picture!” and: “Man Psy, you look good already, you really don’t need to lose weight, bro.”
The rapper later replied: “Psy failed at self-management. Look at him losing weight because he’s on a hiatus.”
Underneath it, he joked: “I will start taking care of myself again” and vowed to put the weight back on.
It has been a roller coaster few years for the horse-dancing star, whose real name is Park Jai-sang.
In 2012 Gangnam Style, a song mocking the wealthy residents of the area known as ‘Seoul’s Beverly Hills’ was viewed more than three billion times on YouTube.
It was copied by countless celebrities and was famously performed by former shadow Chancellor Ed Balls during his turn on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
Psy has now released six albums and also found success with his follow-up hit Gentleman.
That song became the most-viewed video in a 24-hour period – until Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do took his crown in 2017.
