Gotta get it first!

If you wanna catch ‘em all before anyone else then GAME are running launch events at 65 of their stores across the country.

Thanks to digital downloads the days of midnight launches have almost become a thing of the past, but GAME are going all out for Pokémon Sword and Shield when it launches on Friday, 15 November.

A grand total of 65 stores will be opening late at night on Thursday, to ensure you can be amongst the first on the planet to play the new game.

Stores will also have dedicated Switch Lite demo units set up – since the game is particularly suited to the Switch’s new portable-only model.

The opening times will vary depending on the individual stores, but most will be opening at around 11pm and closing at approximately 1am.

You can see a list of the stores below, with their exact addresses available via the GAME website’s store finder.
