Game Of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Tyrion Lannister's fate SEALED in unexpected new clue?

Tyrion (played by Peter Dinklage) has gone through one of the greatest journeys on Game of Thrones through the seasons.

The dwarf was ostracised by the rest of his family – particularly his father Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) and sister Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

But in recent seasons Tyrion has really matured and become the man his father always wished he would be.

As well as being the hand of the king, Tyrion has also teamed up with the most powerful leaders in all of Westeros.

He is now an important ally and adviser to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and by extension Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

However the latest odds hint the youngest Lannister sibling has gone from 6/4 odds to 1/2.

That’s a whopping descent and suggests fans are convinced Tyrion’s time is up in the final season of the hit fantasy drama.

Bookmaker Betway is backing the character to say his goodbyes on the series, in what is sure to be an explosive final battle against the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) and his White Walkers.

The comedic character is odds on to meet his maker, but while Cersei may be laughing at first there’s a strong chance she’ll be next.

According to the odds, Cersei is 1/30 to face death and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) may not be far behind with odds of 1/10.

Some fans may think all bets are off for the final season – save for the person who ends up on the all-important Iron Throne at Kings Landing.

Mother of Dragons Daenerys could get the chop at the last moment with odds at 2/5.

On the other hand Lady of Winterfell Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) is the most likely to die at 8/13, leaving Jon and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) to grieve the loss of yet another family member.

Betway boss Alan Alger said: “Tyrion Lannister is one of the most adored characters in Game Of Thrones.

“But we’ve seen a big move on him being killed off in the final series.

“The youngest of the Lannister siblings is now 1/2 to meat an unfortunate end in the upcoming finale of the fantasy TV show, having been 6/4 a few days ago.

“It looks as if season eight could a tragic one for House Lannister with all three of Tywin’s children odds-on to die,” Alan added.

“As well as Tyrion, Cersei is 1/30, while Jaime also looks in serious trouble at 1/10.”

Game of Thrones season eight returns April 14 to HBO, and follows a day later on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
