One thing that is for sure about House of the Dragon is Martin doesn’t plan on writing the scripts any time soon.
This is because he has promised fans he will “finish and deliver” his next novel Winds of Winter first.
The novel has fallen victim to pushback after pushback but Martin is now determined to release it.
He wrote on his personal blog: “Ryan Condal has already done a considerable amount of writing on HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, but a lot of work remains ahead of us.
“But… let me make this perfectly clear… I am not taking on any scripts until I have finished and delivered WINDS OF WINTER.
“Winter is still coming, and WINDS remains my priority, as much as I’d love to write an episode of HOUSE.”
The final season of Game of Thrones is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
