Gabrielle Union was all smiles on Monday as she played with her young daughter after claiming she was let go of America’s Got Talent for complaining about ‘racist’ comments.

The actress has publicly spoken out after being fired from the judging panel on Simon Cowell’s talent show juggernaut after just one season, with reports suggesting that she had tried to change the ‘toxic’ culture going on backstage prior to her dismissal.

But the mum-of-one put this to the back of her mind on Monday as she spent some quality time with her one-year-old daughter Kaavia.

Wearing some comfy looking pyjamas and her hair in a wrap, the Bring It On actress posted the cutest video to Instagram as she played around with her adorable daughter, who she has with husband Dwayne Wade.

Honestly, it doesn’t get sweeter than this.

‘A little Monday Magic to start the week,’ Gabrielle wrote, adding: ‘I think we could all use a sweet hug to start the day off right.’

Honestly, you and us both, girl.

Spending a busy day on a photoshoot, the 47-year-old bought Kaavia along with her to work, playing around with her daughter backstage between takes.

With mama wearing a black bodysuit for her photoshoot, the little girl looked uber stylish in a chunky cardigan as she danced with her mum, only to change into a personalised denim jacket we’d really like for ourselves.

Gabrielle has firmly stood her ground amid a tough week, claiming that she was told her hair and wardrobe were ‘too black’ while working on the competition series, with the 10 Things I Hate About You actress now seeking legal action against Simon’s company Syco as well as NBC.

An insider claimed: ‘Gabrielle kept complaining about Simon’s total autonomy on set. There were no other channels to go through to make a complaint about conditions.

‘She was shocked when she was told that her hair and wardrobe was “too black” and she immediately tried to lodge a complaint, but there wasn’t a place to go.

‘This is her #MeToo moment and she’s doing this because she genuinely wants to change an outdated system and wants to make it better for the women who come after her.’

Speaking out on the matter, Gabrielle thanked fellow broadcaster Soledad O’Brien for her support, writing: ‘Thank you! Support is everything! This is exhausting, anxiety inducing, and at times frightening but being able to speak truth to power feeds my soul. Thank you for inspiring us all my friend.’
