G2 Esports and Philips Momentum Partner for Rocket League and Sim Racing

G2 Esports has revealed a partnership with Philips Momentum. Monitors, designed for console gaming, will be supplied to the G2 Esports Rocket League gaming house in New York. G2 Esports Sim Racing, which competes in games including iRacing—in partnership with Red Bull Esports—will also receive Philips Momentum monitors. 

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. It’s worth noting that a separate partnership with AOC supplies the PC game teams of G2 Esports, and includes a branded line of monitors

“We’re proud to join forces with G2 in order to make console gaming even more exciting than ever and to help support the esports community. The G2 Rocket League team, in particular, have worked hard to get where they are now and we’re excited to see how far they go in 2020 with our support,” said Stefan Sommer, director of marketing and business management at MMD for Philips Monitors, in a statement.

This is the second brand partnership announced so far in 2020 for Berlin-headquartered G2 Esports. The company revealed its agreement with gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab earlier this month, following collaborations in 2019 with companies including Mastercard, Red Bull, and Domino’s Germany
