THREE sets of parents cringe as they watch their cheeky children get up to mischief on the latest episode of What Would Your Kid Do?
The ITV show, which airs on Sunday, follows a group of kids as they’re put to the test – all while being filmed by hidden cameras.
The game show, which sees the parents win prizes if they accurately guess their children’s behaviour, follows five-year-old Jake as he’s set a task.
Left alone in a classroom rigged with hidden cameras, the youngster, from Essex, is told to press a button for slime only once.
Two other children, Elsa, from Worthing, and Le’ziyaah, both five, are all given the same instructions.
The ‘teacher’ tells them: “I put enough slime in the machine for everybody, but as long as you only press the button once.”
After a tiny bit comes out, Jake bangs the machine before inevitably pressing the button again.
His parents, flight attendant Esther and stay-at-home dad Trevor, who are watching via hidden camera, look on as he breaks the rules.
Esther says: “This is right up his street.”
Slime soon overflows the jar and starts spilling out, prompting the youngster to exclaim: “Oh my god that is big.
“Stop. Stop. Stop!
“Oh god are you winding me up?”
As his parents predicted he’d break the rules, they get a point from presenter, Jason Manford.
When he’s caught after the ‘teacher’ returns, Jake confesses all.
He’s not alone in being naughty, as Elsa decides to push the button twice as well.
Her parents, Emily and Martin, also think their daughter will give into temptation.
Emily says: “I’m not sure she’ll think past the fact that it’s slime – she’s not been able to have that.”
Sure enough they were right, and Elsa runs from the classroom screaming “help” when her jar begins to overflow.
Just one child followed the rules – and her parents knew she’d be well-behaved.
Le’ziyaah’s mum, Tashada, who appeared on the show with her sister Summer says: “The teacher said nobody else will be able to have some if she presses it twice so she wouldn’t be able to do that to the others.”
Le’ziyaah, who previously said “sharing is caring” said: “It’s my job to share!” when asked why she pressed the button once.
Host Jason, who returns at 7pm on March 31 with the third episode, said: “What we found out is you can’t train a kid, there’s nothing you can do – a kid is a kid and will do what it wants.
“It’s been a lot of fun watching the parents’ faces as their kids didn’t do what they expected them to do.”
