ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal at Fulham.
The Serb had been linked to West Ham Crystal Palace and Real Betis after scoring 11 Premier League goals last term for the relegated Cottagers.
But Scott Parker has managed to pull off a coup by convincing his star striker, 24, to stick around.
Mitrovic, whose new contract runs until 2024, said: “I feel great. I’m really happy and I’m looking forward to playing here next season.
“There were a lot of clubs interested but in the end I decided to stay here because I’m really happy and settled at Fulham.
“My kids, wife, all my family are happy here. This is my home and I am really happy to sign a new deal.
“Since the first day I came here I have received a great reception from everyone in the Club and the fans.
“I feel motivated and every morning when I come here to work I am happy. I have found my happiness and passion here.”
Mitrovic’s new deal follows that of fellow key player Tom Cairney as Parker prepares for life in the Championship.
Fulham are keen to bolster their backline after shipping 81 league goals last term and are after Brentford’s Ezri Konsa and Chelsea centre-back Michael Hector.
But they face a struggle to hold onto starlet Ryan Sessegnon, with Spurs linked with a swoop for the 19-year-old.
