FRISKY Geordies have the healthiest sex drive in the UK and boast they are rarely too tired for a tumble.
One in three from the region, home to Cheryl Tweedy, 35, and Vicky Pattison, 31, say they are always ready for sex.
The Northern Irish and those from the North West are next most up for it, with one in four fired up. That compares with frumpy folk from Wales and London where only 16 per cent never flag, a Sun on Sunday poll shows. Nationally, one in five are never too knackered for nookie.
Seventeen per cent of women said fatigue hit their sex drive compared with ten per cent of men.
Tiredness affected 26 to 35s most, 18 per cent saying they were often too done in. That fell to 15 per cent for the 36 to 45s. Just 9.6 per cent of 46 to 55s duck out due to fatigue, a fraction more than frisky 18 to 25s.
Nutritionist Dr Emma Derbyshire said: “We know fatigue can contribute to low libido in men and women — but not if you live in the North East!
“We were surprised by just how much of an issue fatigue is.”
Energy supplement firm Red Kooga quizzed 1,000 UK adults.
