Despite all these interviews, discussions and Instagram posts, HBO Max may be the moment the group get back together.
According to Deadline, the cast are expected to come back together for an unscripted reunion special on the new platform, HBO Max.
HBO Max is launching with the whole Friends library on it, meaning its time on Netflix is certainly over.
However, reports suggest all six cast members have reached an agreement to do an hour-long special, for $3-4million each.
CCO of HBO Max Kevin Reilly said in 2019, as the negotiations were ongoing: “There is interest all around, and yet we can’t get the interests all alighted to push the button on it. Today it’s just maybe.”
