FORMER The Bill actor Jeff Stewart could be in trouble from the fashion police for this outfit . . .

Jeff, 63, played clean-cut cop Reg Hollis on the hit ITV show which ran for 26 years until 2010.

He was spotted taking a stroll in a tartan blazer, crumpled shorts, woollen socks and a pair of battered trainers.

Shades-wearing Jeff also had a yellow brolly tucked under his left arm and a black bag hanging off it while out in London.

His neat trim from The Bill days is now a frizzy grey mane.

Jeff played Reg for all 26 series of The Bill, where he was the Police Federation rep.

His character was known for his love of model trains sets.

Since it ended, he has starred in independent films and won an award for his acting at the Manhattan Film Festival in 2011.

Prizes for his dress sense might be a long time coming.
