FORMER Emmerdale star Lyndon Ogbourne has welcomed a baby son with his wife Marina.
The actor announced his happy news on Instagram with fans – along with a selection of adorable pictures of the newborn, Jack.
Lyndon wrote: “Jack River Ogbourne. 03.02.2020.
“Marina, I didn’t realise I could fall deeper in love with you, but I have. You’ve brought us an actual angel.
“Thank you. Overwhelmed beyond the stars.”
Lyndon also shared video footage of him carrying baby Jack out of hospital.
He wrote: “The smiley bear is ready for home time” as he shared a snap of Jack wearing an adorable onesie.
The little one also held on to his daddy’s finger during a nap as new dad Lyndon shared the special moments online.
Lyndon first appeared in Emmerdale back in 2009 as bad boy Nathan Wylde.
At the time announcing his departure from the ITV soap, Lyndon said: “Emmerdale has been such an incredible experience for me and the final act of the Wyldes’ drama will be so gripping.
“I’ve had great fun and learned so much from creating one of the most love-to-hate Emmerdale characters.
“But my personal ambition and excitement for future projects has led me to feel this is the right time to leave.
“But I believe this won’t be the last you’ve seen of devilish Nathan Wylde.”
In 2011 he toured the UK in Agatha Christie’s play The Verdict.
He now describes himself as an Art Director and Set Designer.
