Forever 21 said to be leaving Taiwan

New York – The US-based fast fashion chain is reported to be
leaving Taiwan after closing its last store in the country.

United States-based fast-fashion retailer Forever 21 will close its
last remaining store in Taiwan before the end of the month, reports
shared by ‘Taiwan News’ said on Friday.

Forever 21 entered the highly competitive Taiwanese market four
years ago, opening their first store in 2015 in Taipei.

‘Apple Daily’ cited a staff communication explaining that over the
past year, the business had not reached an ideal situation but
registered continuous losses, leading to the painful decision to
withdraw from Taiwan.
