WE love our homeware – and spend more on it than ever.
From cushions to decorations, the high street has such a great range.
But you needn’t splash loads of cash to kit out your home in style.
Here are some of my best finds for a tenner or less . . .
Price matters. It has been a bit of a viral hit, so I was pleased to discover Matalan’s £8 unicorn “Welcome” door mat is still in stock.
It is even more of a bargain when compared to the version at wayfair.co.uk for £27.99.
Matalan’s new homeware range looks ace and kids will love the unicorn or turtle bedroom pillowcase range, both just £6.
Bathe ’n’ save. I am really impressed with Poundland’s range of bathroom accessories.
I picked up a slate-grey soap dispenser and toothbrush holder for £1 each. At Next, similar ones that caught my eye start at £10.
Kitchen cool. George At Asda has launched a clearance sale. I found gold sparkly wine glasses and champagne flutes for £2 a pair.
Asda also has a great designer dupe for cutlery. Instead of getting the £25 rose-gold and marble set at JD Williams, Asda has slashed the price of its version to £10, down from £15.
The light stuff. Lighting can really change the mood of a place and Sainsbury’s has halved the price of some of its homeware ranges.
I found a touch lamp and shade for just £9, while those who want to make the most of the summer can pick up a Miami deckchair for just £7.50, down from £30.
Time it right. Have you got a Homesense near you?
If so, that is the place to go to add some personality to your home for a bargain price. Slogan wall-prints start at £1.99. I liked: “You are the gin to my tonic.”
If you want a statement wall clock, prices start at £9.99.
