Fiona Bruce brutally shuts down Brexiteer as he tries to make EU point – 'Quieten down!'

Ms Bruce was joined by Conservative minister Matt Hancock, Labour‘s Annaliese Dodds and Brexit Party MEP Mr Daubney this week in Leicester. The panel was completed by Scottish National Party’s Philippa Whitford and CEO of Barnardo’s Javed Khan.

Most the panellists were particularly passionate last night as yesterday marked a vital day for Mr Johnson’s political career as he secured a deal with the EU.

Debates between the Brexiteers and Remainer Dodds focussed on whether their parties would be voting for or against Mr Johnson’s deal in the House of Commons on Saturday.

Ms Dodds and Mr Daubney had a particularly fiery clash whereby the host was forced to step in and reprimand the Brexiteer.

Ms Bruce asked Ms Dodds whether the Labour Party would be voting for Mr Johnson’s deal on its own or Mr Johnson’s deal with a second referendum attached.

Ms Dodds responded: “Well, I think everybody will know that we can’t foretell now which amendments are actually going to be chosen.

“If there was one, which said we could have a referendum- ”

Mr Daubney seized the opportunity to savage the Remainer and was heard sighing while she tried to make her point.

He interrupted her and said: “Just be honest! Give people clarity!”

Mr Daubney shouted over the top of Ms Dodds and said: “Oh, the Speaker!

“Yeah, the Speaker!

“The default Prime Minister!”

The audience erupted with laughter at the Brexiteer’s witty comment.

However, Ms Bruce was not happy with the way the MEP interrupted Ms Dodds.

She said: “Martin! Martin, don’t shout!

“Quieten down, please.”

Ms Bruce then asked an audience member to voice his opinion.

He savaged Tory Mr Hancock saying, “With all due respect Matt, you’ve sacked off your majority, you’ve not got the support of the DUP, talk to us about plan B.”

Mr Hancock was not given the opportunity to answer as Ms Bruce went on to another audience member.
