FIFA 20 ratings release time, top 100 player news and FIFA demo launch date latest

EA Sports has confirmed the FIFA 20 Player Ratings reveal time for PS4 and Xbox One gamers.

And the good news is that fans don’t have long to wait to find out who will be where in the top 100.

As already shared by EA Sports, the FIFA 20 Top 100 Ratings reveal is happening today, September 9.

This will begin at 3pm in the UK, meaning an early start time for those in the United States.

While the FIFA 20 Ratings reveal will start in the afternoon BST, it will be around 7am PST in the US. And unlike in years past, it appears we will be learning all the top 100 ratings in FIFA 20 today.

That means there won’t be a countdown of reveals heading toward the eventual launch of the full game on September 27.

So it will be interesting to see how EA Sports decides to showcase all the information at once.

And some ratings appear to have leaked ahead of the official EA Sports reveal.

According to the latest reports, Lionel Messi will edge out Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in FIFA 20. Messi reportedly has a rating of 94, compared to 93 for Ronaldo and 92 for Neymar.

Interestingly, if the leak is accurate, Premier League stars make up the remainder of the top 10. However, There’s no way of knowing how the stats will turn out until EA Sports themselves confirm online today.

We already know the players who will be included in today’s player rating reveal for FIFA 20.

The names of the top 100 have been shared on the official website, but their stats will remain obscured until 3pm.

According to the latest leaks, Man City’s Kevin de Bryune will have a 91 rating, followed by 90 for Mo Salah, Alisson, and Virgil Van Dijk.

David De Gea will represent Man Utd with 89, followed by Raheem Sterling and Christian Eriksen on 88. The other big piece of news that could be shared today by EA Sports is the official FIFA 20 demo release date.

This has yet to be confirmed by the dev team and is a big piece of the build-up to the seasonal FIFA game launch.

As ever, gamers are expecting a demo to launch before the full game, including some of the top teams from around the world.

The gameplay will be limited but there will be enough to showcase how the new game will work on PS4 and Xbox One.

Recent rumours suggest that the FIFA 20 demo will be released by EA Sports on September 12.

If this proves true, we can probably expect some kind of announcement in the coming days, if not with the ratings reveal.

Fans may also be interested to find out what the new VOLTA mode will be like in FIFA 20.

“A small sided football experience has been one of the most requested features coming from the community for the past several years,” a message from EA Sports explains.

“We haven’t had something like this integrated into a single FIFA product since the days of FIFA 98, and we’re excited to be able to finally deliver what we’ve been developing behind the scenes.

“That said, it’s important to note that VOLTA FOOTBALL is certainly not just FIFA Street or Indoor from years past. It’s street football built upon the foundation of our Frostbite Engine for the first time!

“This has afforded us the ability to deliver authentic gameplay and game mode experiences that are fundamentally pioneering and engaging. Today we’re excited to give you your first detailed look.”
