Felicity Huffman’s daughter has been accepted to Vassar College, following her mother’s involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Georgia Macy, 17, has updated her Instagram bio to read ‘Vassar 2024’, signalling that she will be graduating four years from now from the New York college.

The teenager also added a Vassar logo to her Instagram story, so it seems she’s pretty excited about her achievement.

And so she should be – Vassar is one of the top liberal arts colleges in the United States and is one of the historic Seven Sisters, the first elite colleges for women in America.

According to statistics, 75% of admissions to Vassar are in the top 10% of their class and the college only had a 23.7% acceptance rate last year, so snaps for Georgia.

This is sure to be a sore spot for her big sister Sophia, who was wrapped up in the college admissions scandal.

Desperate Housewives star Felicity pleaded guilty to honest services mail fraud, after she paid $15,000 to have her 19-year-old daughter Sophia’s SAT scores fixed to improve her chances of getting into college.

Sophia was unaware of this, and since the scandal, has not announced that she has enrolled anywhere.

Huffman admitted in court that she paid an SAT proctor to administer Sophia’s college entrance exam and correct wrong answers – and that she considered doing the same for Georgia.

In court documents, the 57-year-old said she ‘finally agreed to cheating on Sophia’s SAT scores and also considered doing the same thing for Georgia. But the decision haunted me terribly; I knew it was not right. I finally came to my senses and told Mr. Singer to stop the process for Georgia.’

Felicity was sentenced to 14 days in jail back in September, as well as a $30,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.

The star, who is married to Shameless star William H Macy, was released after serving 11 days.

Since her release, Huffman has been pictured carrying out her community service at the Teen Project in Los Angeles, which helps at risk women.
