It’s no yolk, in Farmfoods stores you can get your hands on a five-pack of Creme Eggs for just 99p.

The price is an absolute bargain. The same box would set you back £1.65 at Tesco. That’s 33p an egg compared to 19p at Farmfoods.

Asda beats Tesco on cost but is still substantially cheaper than FarmFoods, coming in at £1.50 or 30p an egg.

Iceland and Waitrose were both the most expensive options coming in at £2 for a pack – or 40p per egg.

That’s more than twice the cost of the FarmFoods offer.

Each egg is 40g and contains 177 calories.

An adult man should have around 2,500 calories a day while it’s 2,000 for a woman.

The deal was spotted by an eagle-eyed shopper in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook Group.

So far, hundreds of people have liked to post and tagged it to friends.

There are over 300 FarmFoods stores across the UK.

Originally a frozen food specialist, the retailer now also sells groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables – along with a range of household items.
