CESC FABREGAS has picked his best XI based on stars he’s played with during his career – and it’s ridiculously good.
The former Spain international, 31, has listed a host of mega-stars from his illustrious career including John Terry, Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry.
Fabregas – now at Monaco – has played for Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona and Spain, while playing alongside some of the world’s greatest players.
Check out his star-studded XI – set-out in an attacking 4-2-4 formation – below…
DEFENCE
Iker Casillas, Dani Alves, John Terry, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba
FABREGAS has plumped for his old Spain pal Casillas between the sticks – behind an incredible back-four.
He’s gone with old Barcelona team-mates Alves and Alba in the full-back spots – alongside Pique in the middle.
Pique is joined by ex-Chelsea captain Terry in the heart of the rock-solid defence.
MIDFIELD
Patrick Vieira, Andres Iniesta
IN the middle of the park, Fabregas has gone for well-rounded pairing of Vieira and Iniesta.
With ex-Arsenal team-mate Vieira providing the grit and defensive nous, he’s complemented by pass master Iniesta in a top-quality tandem.
FORWARDS
Lionel Messi, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Thierry Henry
BUT Fabregas arguably saved the best until last with his attacking quartet.
Former Barca team-mate Messi is joined by Chelsea star Hazard on the flanks.
And they’re joined by old Premier League stars Costa and Henry in the middle of an attacking force with goals written all over it.
