Evening of playing video games in Roseland ends with boy, 12, wounded in accidental shooting – Chicago Tribune

The boy who was shot, an eighth grader, was enjoying video games with three other young boys, ages 13, 12 and 6, in an upstairs bedroom of a relative’s home in the 700 block of East 105th Place when the 13-year-old left momentarily and came back holding and “playing with” a .45-caliber blue steel handgun, police said.
