Global esports tournament and league organizer ESL will debut its first ever brick-and-mortar store inside Xperion, the e-arena of Saturn, a consumer electronics retailer in Cologne, Germany. Esports fans will be able to purchase esports apparel and, additionally, tournaments, activations, and broadcasts are being planned in conjunction with the e-arena when it opens on Aug. 17.
Inside the ESL shop, consumers will find exclusive ESL merchandise as well as limited edition “Graffiti Bomber Jackets” and “Local Hero Cologne” hoodies and t-shirts. Those will be sold along with other items such as esports team jerseys and outerwear from teams including SK Gaming, BIG, and mousesports. Special Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 collectible items will be available as well.
In June, Saturn partnered with TaKeTV, who announced it would be building a 32,000 square foot (3,000m²) esports and gaming experience inside Xperion.
Saturn, whose stores are located in Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg, is an electronics retailer owned by the retail trade company Ceconomy.
